Shop Policies

Thank you for supporting our farm! All tubers that we sell were grown by us here on our farm. Your happiness is important to us, so please read through our policies.

Dahlia Tuber Guarantee:

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. All our tubers are guaranteed to have an eye (even if you can’t see it yet). We take great care while harvesting tubers to make sure all tubers have a viable eye. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us within 3 days of receiving your order with a photo and your order number. After 3 days, the window is closed and you take full responsibility for your dahlia tubers. We are not responsible for any issues due to storage, weather, rot,or other growing conditions once tubers are received.

Shipping Policy:

All orders will be shipped through USPS, as we are not offering any local pickup this year. Tubers will ship in April.

Cancellations and Refund Policy:

Please read through the tuber guarantee and shipping policy above. We do not accept cancellations after orders have been made. We do everything we can to be sure our tubers are of the highest quality.  If there is an issue with your order for some other reason, please contact us.

Trademarked Varieties:

We are a licensed seller of Santa Cruz Dahlias™. Their trademarked varieties can be freely grown, multiplied, traded, or donated. Growers can freely sell the cut flowers. They can freely harvest and share or sell seeds. Customers who purchase trademarked varieties may not sell cuttings, tubers or plants without a trademark license from Santa Cruz Dahlias™.

Dahlia Viruses:

We cull and dispose of unhealthy or questionable looking plants, and consistently practice good pest management. We also sanitize the tools used in our dahlias for harvesting, cutting down plants, and dividing. We are always working hard to keep plant disease low and our processes are constantly evolving as more is learned about dahlia viruses and their prevention. Even with these practices in place, dahlia virus is still a common reality and plants that are asymptomatic could still carry dahlia viruses (American Dahlia Society research). By purchasing tubers, you are accepting the fact that despite our best efforts disease might emerge.

Mislabeled Varieties:

We are careful to label our dahlia tubers during every step of the growing, dividing, and storage process. If you believe a variety is mislabeled, please email us a photo and your order number for us to review.  We will do our best to resolve any mistakes.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

If there are unforeseen circumstances, such as a loss during tuber storage, we reserve the right to refund you for any affected tubers.
